Texas Groundwater Conference

DBS&A will sponsor and exhibit at the 30th annual Texas Groundwater Conference of the American Ground Water Trust (AGWT). The event is scheduled for June 6 to 7, 2023, in Austin.

Kevin Hopson, PG, DBS&A vice president and head of operations for Texas, will participate in this important event focused on “everything aquifers and groundwater management” including legal, policy, management, scientific, engineering, and technical issues about Texas’ aquifers. The event aims to “facilitate information sharing among landowners, groundwater end-users, regulators, management agencies, scientists, engineers, lawyers, and citizens who have economic or environmental interests in water resources.”

With expertise in groundwater and surface water hydrology and soil science, DBS&A supports clients in developing sustainable water supplies, conjunctively managing surface water and groundwater, adapting to changes in climate, and interacting with regulatory agencies.
