David Manoukian Earns Professional Geoscientist License

Congratulations to David Manoukian on earning his Professional Geoscientist license from the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists! David joined DBS&A in our Austin office in 2019 and specializes in collecting and interpreting field data, oversight, data management and interpretation of geophysical well logs; drilling and installation of groundwater monitoring wells; and general hydrogeologic support.

Amy Ewing, PG, Hydrologist, presented on Managed Aquifer Recharge and Water Supply Resilience in Albuquerque,” work done in collaboration with DBS&A’s Christopher Wolf, PG, and Katherine Yuhas of Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority at the 17th Biennial Symposium on Managed Aquifer Recharge earlier this month.

Tom Golden Leads DBS&A Austin Engineering

Texas-licensed Professional Engineer Thomas Golden, PE, has returned to DBS&A’s Austin office. With 20 years of experience (13 engineering at DBS&A), he will be responsible for ensuring excellence in the quality of our design of environmental investigations and remediation of soil and groundwater; design and permitting of landfills, waste disposal facilities, stormwater, water supply, and wastewater projects; and field and laboratory data analysis.

Dr. Schnaar Presenting on PFAS

Dr. Gregory Schnaar, PG, Principal Hydrogeologist, will share important information about PFAS sources, fate and transport, and forensic methods for source determination in his presentation, “PFAS: Wide-Ranging Sources and Impacts to Water Supplies” at the AGWT Arizona webinar on September 24, 2020 co-organized with support from the Arizona Hydrological Society, Environmental Professions of Arizona, Arizona Water Association and the Air & Waste Management Association-Grand Canyon Section.
