Schnaar, MooreThe American Ground Water Trust (AGWT) Annual Texas Groundwater Conference will be held in Austin, Texas on June 12-13, 2019. The conference will focus on “Everything Aquifers and Groundwater Management.”

Gregory Schnaar, Ph.D., P.G., Senior Environmental Scientist and Hydrogeologist, will present on Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS): Wide-Ranging Sources and Impacts to Texas Water Supplies. The questions we ask are, “how serious is the problem of PFAS in groundwater, and how does Texas compare with other parts of the U.S.?” The answers will be provided during the presentation given on June 12th. Stephanie Moore, P.G., Senior Hydrologist will moderate Session 1 – Rules and Regulations to Protect Texas Groundwater also on June 12th.
