Presenting on Carrizo Outcrop Monitor Well Project
The 2022 Texas Ground Water Association (TGWA) Annual Convention is taking place from January 25 to January 28, 2022 at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Frisco, Texas. This year, the convention also includes celebrating TGWA’s 75th anniversary. DBS&A Geologist Russell Perry, PG, is presenting on DBS&A’s recent monitor well installation work in the Carrizo Formation.

Presentation abstract:
Mr. Perry will share details and insights from work performed by DBS&A assisting the Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District (GCUWCD) and the Guadalupe County Groundwater Conservation District (GCGCD) to install monitor wells into the Carrizo Formation along a 45-mile length of outcrop through Caldwell, Gonzales, and Guadalupe Counties, Texas. DBS&A’s support services included planning, filed oversight, data collection and compilation, log correlations, aquifer hydraulic analysis, and reporting.
