New Mexico Water & Wastewater Association Northern School
The New Mexico Water and Wastewater Association (NMWWA) will hold its annual Northern Short School May 19-22, 2025 at the Ohkay Owingeh Casino Convention Center. DBS&A’s Alex Nuñez-Thompson, EI, and Calvin Keller will attend the Short School training and also host an exhibit booth.
DBS&A engineers provide conceptual planning to full-scale design and construction phase services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. We also offer water and wastewater system operator support and training. Several staff are certified as water and wastewater utility operators by the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED).
NMWWA provides training for utility operators throughout New Mexico. Three one-week Short Schools are held annually and involve training in all areas of water and wastewater utility management and operation.
The NMWWA is organized and operates exclusively for scientific and educational purposes on a nonprofit basis. The Association endeavors to assist in protecting the public health and the environment and preserving the investment of public funds in New Mexico by promoting proper design, construction, operation, performance evaluation, and management of water and wastewater utilities.
