New Mexico added to EPA’s Class VI Primacy Tracker
Exciting update! The State of New Mexico has officially been added to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Class VI Primacy Tracker! This is an important milestone reflecting New Mexico’s solid position to bring carbon sequestration oversight to the state level. With strong leadership from the Oil Conservation Division of Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department of New Mexico, New Mexico is continuing its history as a leader in responsible energy development.
DBS&A is proud to support this effort in collaboration with New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, state agencies, and project partners. It’s an honor to contribute to a program that will play a vital role in advancing carbon management across the region.
