Carbon Capture and Storage Workshop
DBS&A is sponsoring the 2024 Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists (RMAG) Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Workshop taking place on October 17, 2024, in Golden, Colorado. This workshop focuses on the latest advancements in CCS technology and policy. Technical topics will include geomechanics, static modeling, regulatory requirements, legal considerations, and compliance issues, and policies and frameworks that govern CCS implementation.
CCS Market Leader Olivia Brown will be attending. Ms. Brown specializes in the development of onshore Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) projects; subsurface evaluation and reservoir characterization for CCS; and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Class VI permitting guidelines and regulations. She is proficient in several software programs, including Petrel, GeoGraphix, ArcGIS, and Petra.
DBS&A supports geologic CCS projects by applying our expertise in geology, engineering, and environmental consulting toward CCS site feasibility screening, project regulatory support, field monitoring services, subsurface analysis and modeling, and project monitoring and reporting.
