Celebrating the Local Engineering Community

The local engineering community celebrated numerous achievements at the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) New Mexico Engineering Excellence Awards Gala on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Sandia Resort & Casino. Attendees included ACEC NM National Director and DBS&A President Gundar Peterson, PE; Staff Engineers Grace Herrmann, PE, Alex Nunez-Thompson, EI, and  Kory Holt, EI; Principal Geologist Jim Kelsey, PG; and Business Developer Janet Wolfe. DBS&A engineers specialize in water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure engineering; water treatment system design; remedial design; and landfill and waste disposal facility design. ACEC New Mexico is a member organization under the ACEC, supporting engineers in private practice, promoting innovation, quality design, community service, and business success.
