In this position, you will work hand-in-hand with a diverse range of educated professionals, including technical editors, marketers, engineers, and scientists. You will edit, proofread, and format technical reports, including tables, and figures; copy and assemble hard copy reports; and produce PDFs of reports. You may also provide proposal support including hardcopy production, creating or modifying staff resumes, project descriptions, and company information. Some work may be performed remotely, but there will always be a need for this person to be in the Albuquerque headquarters at least a couple of days per week. As a subsidiary of Geo-Logic Associates, you will work with 300 diverse professionals and 27 offices in the U.S. and Peru. More about this opportunity on a day-to-day basis
A typical workday will involve working with teams on technical reports and proposals with varying deadlines with a focus on the following duties and responsibilities:
- Editing, proofreading, formatting, compiling, or maintaining text
- Copying and assembling hard copy documents and/or producing PDFs of technical reports
- Coordinating with internal and external team members
- Organizing and producing material according to company or client standards and specifications, ensuring compliance and thoroughness
- Creating document layout, graphics, charts, and/or diagrams
- Data entry and administrative tasks
We welcome applicants who are interested in a part-time or full-time position. Overtime will be required periodically to meet deadlines, including possible evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position also requires that the potential employee pass a pre-employment drug screen. You must possess and maintain a driving record acceptable to our insurer, and must be eligible to work in the United States. Position level and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications. The preferred location for this position is Albuquerque, New Mexico.
